The DOM Input Password required Property is used to set or return whether Input Password Field should be filled or not when submitting the form. This property is used to reflect the HTML required attribute. 

Syntax: 

  • It is used to return the required property.
passwordObject.required
  • It is used to set the required property.
passwordObject.required = true|false

Property Values:

  • true: It specifies that the Password field must be filled out before submitting the form.
  • false: It is the default value. It specifies that the Password field must not be filled out before submitting the form.

Return Value: It returns a Boolean value which represents that the Password Field must be filled or not before submitting the form.
