The DOM Input Number max Property in HTML DOM is used to set or return the value of the max attribute of a number field. The max attribute defines the maximum value for a number field.

Syntax:

  • It returns the max property.
    numberObject.max
  • It is use to set the max property.
    numberObject.max = number

Property values: It contains a single value i.e number which specify the maximum value allowed to be entered by the user for a number field.

Return Value: It returns a string value which represent the maximum number allowed for a number field.
