In this article, we will look into how you can use your browser as a text editor.

To do so follow the below steps:

Step 1: Open a new tab in your browser.

Step 2: Paste the below-mentioned code in the search bar, and hit enter.

data:text/html, <html contenteditable>

That’s all, you can note down anything here on the blank screen.  

 Saving the Data:

For saving the text written, you simply need to perform the general process. Press Ctrl + S and a windows pop-up will appear asking location to save the file. Choose a location and click on save. The file will be saved in HTML format. You can open it anytime in your favorite browser.
