jQuery Mobile is a web based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets and desktops.

In this article, we will be creating a basic markup button using jQuery Mobile.

Approach:

  • Add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

    <link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css” />
    <script src=”http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js”></script>
    <script src=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.js”></script>

  • We will be using different types of ui classes and different types to make up the markup buttons.

Example 1: We will be using anchor tag with class=”ui-btn ui-corner-all” for creating the button.

HTML

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html

<head>
    <link rel="stylesheet"
        href="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/
        1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css" />

    <script
        src="http://code.jquery.com/mobile/
