Step 1: Visit the official website of VLC using any browser that you like.

Step 2: Click on the drop-down symbol adjacent to the Download VLC button, a drop-down list will appear. Now, choose macOS according to your system configuration and click the Download VLC button, downloading will start automatically.

Step 4: Next check for the installer file in downloads and open it. A new screen will appear.

Step 5: Now hold and drag the VLC file into Applications.

Step 6: Copying of VLC to Applications will start, wait for some time.

Step 7: Now check for VLC media player into Applications.

Step 8: Double click on it to open it, it will prompt for confirmation, click on Open.
