How to Install Unreal Engine on Windows?

An unreal engine is computer software made with the purpose of game development so it is a game engine. The development credit of this software goes to Epic Games and it was first launched in 1998. Its author is Tim Sweeney. It is capable of making 2D and 3D games. It is available for different operating systems like Windows, macOS, etc. It is easy to use and is capable of making complex games.

Installing Unreal Engine on Windows

Follow the below steps to install Unreal Engine on Windows:

Step 1: Visit the official Unreal engine website using any web browser that you like.

Step 2: Click on the download button, two license products are available, one is a Publishing license and the other is a creator’s license both are free.

Step 3: Scroll down and download the Creators license.

Step 4: Next web page will open, so click on the sign-up option.

Step 5: A number of options are available for signing up so choose according to your preference. Let’s take to sign up with the Google option.

Step 6: After login accepts the license agreement and download will start automatically.

Step 7: Now run the downloaded file which is actually the epic game launcher so sign in again.

Step 8: Now the launcher is ready so click on Unreal Engine on the left panel.

Step 9: New page will open and on the right-hand side, there is a button for Install Engine so click it.

Step 10: After this, it will ask for installing location so browse the location and click the Install button.

Step 11: Once the download is complete, it will show the new project screen, click on Next button.

Step 12: Next page is about Project setting so click on Create project button.

Step 13: Interface is initialized successfully.
