How to Install ShowFOTO package on Ubuntu?

Photo editing software called Showfoto provides effective features. This program’s standalone image editor from the digiKam project allows you to see your photographs and modify them! Similar technologies share a number of aspects, including their adaptability with tools for importing and exporting information to distant online sites like Flickr, GPhoto, Imgur, Facebook, etc. A sophisticated picture editor that is free and open source is called Showfoto. It may be used to view your photos and make improvements. All of the common photo-editing features, including transformation, filtering, applying effects, changing metadata, and many more, are included for free. The digiKam project’s standalone image editor is called Showfoto. It is an excellent picture editing program that runs without the need for other software, although it is lightweight and lacks many features. Installation of ShowPHOTO on Ubuntu

Step 1: Because the ShowFOTO package is included in Ubuntu’s default repository, we will use the following command to update all of Ubuntu’s accessible packages:

sudo apt-get update

Step 2: We will install ShowFOTO on Ubuntu using the apt package manager,

sudo apt-get install showfoto -y

Step 3: Use the following command to determine the version of ShowFOTO that is currently installed:

showfoto –version

Step 4: Simply type the following command into the terminal to start the ShowFOTO,

showfoto
