How to install ODrive in Ubuntu

Install ODrive on Ubuntu
ODrive may be installed in a variety of methods on Ubuntu. Let’s take a look at each one individually.
- Using .deb file
- Using Snap Package
- Using AppImage
Let’s go through all the installation methods one by one.
Method 1: Using .deb file
Step 1: Download .deb File.
We can download Odrive.deb file form here.
Step 2: Now that you’ve downloaded the.deb file, go to its location and right-click on it, then select Open With Software Install from the menu.
Step 3: After you’ve downloaded the.deb file, go to its location and right-click on it, then select Open With Software Install. This will bring up the Ubuntu Software Center. To begin the installation process, click install. For authentication, Ubuntu will ask you for your account password. To proceed, type it in.
Method 2: Using Snap Package
Step 1: We’ll start by downloading the snap package. Type the following command on the terminal.
sudo apt install snapd
Step 2: To install ODrive, execute the following command.
sudo snap install odrive-unofficial
On Ubuntu, this will install ODrive.
Method 3: Using AppImage
Step 1: Go to this URL to get the app image. Find and download the most recent stable version of AppImage.
Follow the two procedures below to make the AppImage executable.
Step 2: Right-click on the AppImage and select properties when it has completed downloading.
Step 3: Check the execute box that says Allow execution file as a programme under the Permissions tab in properties.
Now Odrive is successfully installed on our ubuntu operating system.
