OBS studio is a free and open source software that can be run on any operating system like macOS, Windows, Linux, etc. It is available in 59  languages. It is written in written in C, C++. The development goes to Hugh “Jim” Bailey and his team. It was released on 1 September 2012. It is a platform of screen casting and streaming app. It is used to stream videos of any RTPM(Real Time Messaging Protocol) supported platform like Instagram, Youtube, Facebook etc. It also supports real time capture, recording, encoding and broadcasting using RTPM. It is very easy to use and handle the software. In this article, we will see how to install OBS Studio on macOS.

Installing OBS Studio  on macOS 

Follow the below steps to install OBS Studio on macOS:

Step 1: Visit the official website of OBS Studio using any web browser that you like.

Step 2: Click on the macOS 10.13+ button to download OBS Studio.

Step 3: Now find the executable file in the download folder and then click on it to open it.

Step 4: Now hold and drag the OBS Studio to the Applications.

Step 5: Now look for the OBS Studio into the applications and run it.
