Since it’s well-designed and integrated with Ubuntu Gnome Desktop, the Gnome Weather app should always be your first choice. The prediction is integrated into the Clock (date & time) menu and is displayed in a desktop window. Sadly, a glitch in Ubuntu 20.04 prevents the forecast from working. Version 40 shows the actual temperature, how it feels, and a cloudy/sunny/rainy indicator for the current weather. Furthermore, it displays hourly and daily forecasts (2 weeks). As its name suggests, it obtains weather information from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute. Gnome-weather can be installed on Ubuntu in the 3 different ways.
