Method 1: Set up a calendar Using the apt-get package manager

Step 1: The following command will update the apt database with apt-get.

sudo apt-get update

 

Step 2: We may use apt-get to install the calendar after refreshing the apt database by performing the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install calendar

 

Method 2: Install Using apt

Step 1: Using the apt command, you may update the apt database.

sudo apt update

 

Step 2: We may use apt to install the calendar after refreshing the apt database by performing the following command:

sudo apt -y install calendar

 

Method 3: Aptitude to install a calendar

Step 1: You may need to install aptitude first if you wish to use this approach, as aptitude is not normally installed by default on Ubuntu. Aptitude may be used to update the apt database using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

 

Step 2:After updating the apt database, we can use aptitude to install the calendar by performing the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install calendar

 

 

Now we can see that Gnome-Calendar is successfully installed on our ubuntu operating system.
