The following are the steps to install the Lightworks video editor:

Step 1: Go to the Lightworks website, and on the home page, click on the Get Started button.

Step 2: Then, we will be directed to the Lightworks sign-up page. We have to create an account on their website, before downloading the software. Enter the email address and create a password, to sign up for the page.

Step 3: After signing up, we will be redirected to the next page of Lightworks, where we will be asked some questions. For example, the reason for signing up, for which social video platform you want to create videos, etc. After answering the questions, click on the Let’s go button.

Step 4: Then, we will be redirected to the download page of the software, where we can see multiple options. One could, either download the free software or have a paid version for premium features. Click on the download now option.

Step 5: As Lightworks is a multi-OS software, it can run on either of the operating systems, windows, macOS, and Linux. Click on the Download button.

Step 6: The download of the software begins. At the time when we are writing this blog, the size of the software is 104 MB, with the file name lightworks_2023.1_r139342_64bit_setup.exe.

Step 7: After downloading the .exe file, start the installation process, by opening the file. Select the language, in which you want to view your software, as the software is multi-language, it also supports german, french, etc.

Step 8: Then, the Lightworks Setup page opens, read the setup guidelines, and click on the Next button.

Step 9: The license Agreement, the page appears. Read the license agreement, then click on the radio button, I accept the terms of the License Agreement. Click on the Next button.

Step 10: Select the location of the software to install. For example, in the E:\Lightworks. Click on the Next button.
