jQuery Mobile is a web-based technology used to make responsive content that can be accessed on all smartphones, tablets, and desktops. In this article, we will be creating a padded popup using jQuery Mobile.

Approach: Add jQuery Mobile scripts needed for your project.

<link rel=”stylesheet” href=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.css” />
<script src=”http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.11.1.min.js”></script>
<script src=”http://code.jquery.com/mobile/1.4.5/jquery.mobile-1.4.5.min.js”></script>

Example: We will create a padded popup with formatted text. The popup padding (15px) can be added by using ui-content class.

HTML

<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>

<head>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href=

    <script
    </script>

    <script src=
    </script>
</head>

<body>
    <center>
        <h1>GeeksforGeeks</h1>

        <div data-role="popup" id="PaddingPopup"
            class="ui-content">

                The ui-content class is used to
                add padding to container.
            </p>
        </div>
