Pre-requisites: Azure and Microsoft Azure – Configuring Log Analytics Data Retention 

In this article, we will show you how to check the usage of data ingestion logs of your Azure resources from the azure portal in simple easy steps. To view the services in azure you should require an RBAC Contributor for any read-write change or RBAC reader access for read-only on select Log analytics resources. Let’s get started!

Step To Check the Usage of Data Logs in Azure

Step 1: Log in to Azure Portal.

Step 2: Navigate to Log Analytics Workspace and select your existing Log Analytics which was already configured to store data logs.

Step 3: Now, from the Log Analytics resource menu,>> select Usage and estimated costs from the general.

 

Step 4: Here in the Usage and estimated costs section select your pricing tier to view the data usage and estimated cost of your resources.

Step 5: Select your recommended pricing tier to view the usage of resources. Refer image shown below.

  • Besides that, you can also view the Usage Charts spends and Data ingested per solution for the last 90 days.

Step 6: To view more insights >> from the header menu of Usage and estimated costs >> select insights

Step 7: Once selected you can check the usage, Health, Agents, Query Audit, and Change Logs by filtering the time range.
