HoneyWell Software Interview Experience 2022

Honeywell visited our campus on 29th October 2022 and offered Software Engineer Intern profile. It was open for CSE and ECE,EEE branches. It had 3 online rounds followed by 2 rounds of Interviews.

Online Test: There were 2 online assessment rounds.

Round 1: Aptitude Assessment (20-25 minutes):Here you can take 3 languages C,C++,Java so I took java and there were general mcq questions on java which I completed within 20 minutes here we need to be quick and fast enough to complete.

Round 2: Online Coding Assessment (30 minutes)

• Question 1 (Very Easy):  Factorial Of a number which you should implement using scanner or input method which was a very easy and basic question
• Question 2 (Easy) : In the 2nd one they asked sum of all the digits between 100 to 999 which we use forloop and find the sum which was also an easy task.

After my assessment, I was shortlisted for the next round which was a technical Interview.

Interview Rounds: There was one Technical round and one HR round.

• Technical Interview:
• Introduce yourself. (6 to 8 minutes)
• Which programming languages do you know and why did you choose them?
• What is CSS Explain briefly.
• Difference between Python and Java in terms of their implementation.
• OOPS Concept explain with examples
• Explain your Internship project. (My project was related to Product Based and Data Analytics)
• Write an If condition and write an inheritance program (LIVE CODING)
• Experience in Workshops and Hackathons
• Questions on python related to data analytics
• What is XML and How it differs from CSS?
• Any questions?

After 30 minutes I was notified that I have been shortlisted for HR Round

2. HR interview: (10 minutes)

• Tell me something about yourself?
• Why do you want to join Honeywell?
• How was your Interview experience with the technical round and what was the difference you felt with Honeywell and other company Interviews?

Topics concentrated on:
Data Structures & Algorithms, Machine Learning, DBMS.

Suggestions:

Prepare your Resume well, as they ask questions mostly from your Resume (The internship project is what they mostly focus on).

• Don’t include anything in your resume that you don’t know very well.
• If you don’t know any answer, just say no and avoid guessing. Basic knowledge of Data Structure and algorithms is very important.
• Be confident while answering and maintain eye contact with the Interviewer.
