Hitachi Interview Experience (Off-Campus) 2022

I appeared for the off-campus drive conducted by Hitachi on July 2022. 

Round 1: The first phase was an online assessment round where we need to solve two codes(One to write proper code and the other is a debugging code). Then there are many sections like Cloud Computing, Data Structures, DBMS, C++, Java, Aptitude, etc.

This is an easy round. I have received a mail that I have been shortlisted for the next round after around 10 days asking me to submit my resume for further process. I submitted my resume and the interview is scheduled around 15 days after my exam completion. 

Round 2: Coming to the interview, the interview started and the interviewer asked me about self-intro he stopped me will saying it to start asking questions about Databases.

• He has asked for all the basics of a database like primary, and foreign keys.
• Accessing the second largest element in a table
• How to obtain a row number and the optimistic approaches for that, and so on.

As far as my interview is concerned it’s all about the basics of CS fundamentals that are needed to crack the job. After 3 days I’m being contacted to give location preference and document submission. And I have got joining a few days after that.
