HashedIn by Deloitte Interview Experience for Software Engineer 2021

I was interviewed in the month of July 2021. I’ve 2 years of experience in Software Development and I was asked questions mostly on the backend and Java.

Round 1: Technical

• This was a F2F Technical Round but happened online. In this round, the interviewer wanted to test the problem-solving skills and the solution approach.
• He had given me 2 problems and asked me to code live (Any preferred IDE or online compiler). The questions were not that difficult and anyone who’s good at solving Easy to Medium problems on GFG can easily solve them. Later the interviewer asked some technical questions on Core Java, Java 8.

Round 2: System Design

• This was a typical design round where the interviewer had asked me to design a DB Schema by giving the requirements. I was asked to design Practo like application that manages doctor’s appointments. He gave some hints in shaping out the schema efficiently. After that, He asked me to write some SQL queries to perform various operations on it. Although it’s a design round, He also asked me to solve a problem using Java 8.
• Not passed through this round so didn’t get a chance to witness the subsequent rounds of interview.
