HackerRank Interview Experience for SDE Internship

Following was my interview experience with HackerRank for Summer Intern 2023. I will try to make it short and to the point without giving too much information.

Phase 1: I applied for the SDE intern role on https://www.hackerrank.com/careers somewhere around March 2022.

Phase 2: One or two days after applying, I received an online assessment. The exam consisted of one coding-type question of easy difficulty.

Phase 3: A month after giving the test, I received an invitation for the first interview with a Sr. Engineering Manager. In the interview, I was asked about my past projects, internships, and the software stack that I was comfortable with.

Phase 4: One week after the first interview, I attended my second interview. This time it was with the CTO of the company.

Phase 5: Got the selection call, 3-4 days after the second interview 🙂

It was one of the best interview experiences of my life. If you are a college student with experience in React, Golang, or Ruby, I highly recommend you apply and accelerate the world’s innovation. Thanks for reading.
