HackerRank Interview Experience for SDE (Bangalore)

Round 1(Online coding round in HackerRank): I got a Hackerrank test link. I had 2 questions asked in the test

1. Given an array of elements, Find the count of unique elements in an array.
2. Encrypt a string, as below

Original string - saaavvvvvqql (given)
Encrypted string - s3v5q2l (need to return this string)

I solved both the questions successfully

After 1 week, I got an email saying that I will be moved to the next round. I was asked about my current CTC and my expected CTC. I didn’t have an expected CTC in my mind, rather I was looking out for what they offered. I didn’t get an answer

Round 2: I was how I would design a system that will convert long urls to tiny urls. They told me to design tables for the same. They also asked me questions on load balancing, I answered them fairly well. 

After 2 days, I got an email saying that they have decided to move forward with other candidates.
