Quantity A: Number of students appeared for two exams except Biology = 100(Physics and Mathematics) Quantity B: Students appeared for biology exam = 100 + 30(Physics and Biology) + 40(Physics and Mathematics) = 170
So, quantity B is greater than quantity A.
Option (B) is correct.
