The summer monsoon happens between April and September. It is usually associated with heavy rainfall. After the end of the winter, warm and moist air from the southwest Indian Ocean blows toward countries like India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Myanmar. This monsoon brings a humid climate and torrential rainfall to these areas.

Retreating Monsoon

The climate at the time of retreating monsoon, skies become clearer and clouds disappear. Severe tropical cyclones emerge from the Bay of Bengal.
