Selenium’s Python Module is built to perform automated testing with Python. Selenium Python bindings provide a simple API to write functional/acceptance tests using Selenium WebDriver. This article revolves around get_screenshot_as_file driver method in Selenium. get_screenshot_as_file method saves a screenshot of the current window to a PNG image file. It returns False if there is any IOError, else returns True.

Syntax –

driver.get_screenshot_as_file("filename.png")

Example –
