Round 1: Online Test (Hackerrank platform) 

Test duration: 1 hour

  • Programming questions: 2(Data structures and algorithms)
  • Multiple Choice Questions: Based on Aptitude, programming, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, OOPs, Java, SQL

Round 2: Technical Interview Round  

  • The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then asked a few questions related to the projects which I wrote in my resume. Then asked me to share the screen and write the solution for the following problem in any online editor of my choice-

He then asked the following questions: 

  1. What is the difference between array and linked list?
  2. What are data structures?
  3. Linear and non-linear data structures and differences between them.
  4. What are the stack and its applications?
  5. What are a queue and its applications?
  6. What are OOPs?
  7. 4 pillars of OOPS. Then he asked to explain any 2 of them.

The interview lasted for around 40 minutes and this round mainly focused on Data Structures. Questions were easy, I managed to answer all the questions. 

Round 3: HR Round

This round was basic, and they were just checking your confidence level.

  1. Tell me about yourself.
  2. Discussion on projects.
  3. What do you know about Genpact?
  4. Explain your strengths and weaknesses.

The interview lasted for around 10-15 minutes.

The interview process was seamless and very well managed by the HR team.

Final Verdict: Selected
