Round 1:

The first round was an online test for 120 min conducted on Cocubes and it was video proctored.

The OT have 2 sections Aptitude and Coding. The first section have 50 Ques which were medium difficulty to be answered in 50 min. I got 40-45 correct in this section. Online Coding Assessment have 2 questions to be coded in 45 min. Each question have different points assigned to them. The question were:

I was able to clear all the test cases in Q2 but only half in Q1.

27 students were selected for the next round, luckily I was one of them.

All the interviews were conducted in Microsoft teams

Round 2:

Students were already selected for which role they were gonna interview by the company itself(Renewable DT Business/ Power DT Business). It was a technical interview and the interview took place for around 40 min. It was basically resume roasting, having a complete knowledge about your resume will get you through this round.

TIP: Do not add everything you learnt. Only add the skills you are perfect at and can defend yourself when asked anything about it. Diversify your resume as much as possible.

7 & 8 students were selected for Manager round in power and renewable respectively.

Round 3:

It was a managerial round asking about my interests and any new things that I’ve learnt in this lock-down, where I’m from and my background. He also asked a few technical questions and general questions like whats your favorite subject and why. At the end he asked if I had any doubts or questions for him. Do not stay quiet or say I have nothing, it implies that you’re not very much interested. So it is always to ask questions even if you don’t have any specific question then ask general questions like the lifestyle there after joining the company or the work life balance. The interview took place for 25 min.

4 & 7 students were selected in power and renewable respectively for last HR round.

Round 4:

Mine was the last interview and the interviewer was busy in writing something and it felt like I she wasn’t paying much attention to what I was answering but she kept asking questions like how would I contribute to the company and also gave me a scenario and how would I solve it with my current skill set.

The results came at midnight and 8 students were selected(4 for power & 4 for renewable) and I was one of them????

Out of 8 students selected 6 of them were female
