Gemini Solutions Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2022-23

Eligibility criteria were 70% all through 10th, and 12th. There were 6 rounds of interviews and a total of 67 students were shortlisted for round1 on the basis of resumes, puzzles, and DSA are very important parts of the process for Gemini Solutions

Round 1 – Online Assessment (08 Nov 2022): It was an online exam consisting of 45 MCQ questions and the time to complete the test was 60 minutes. The questions were not that hard. Basically, based on aptitude, logical thinking, I/O code, and data structures and algorithms. 13 students were shortlisted for the next round.

Round 2 – Group Discussion (09 Nov 2022): The host gave us choice between three topics and on the basis of voting one topic is selected. The host gave us two minutes to think about all the points we were gonna speak about. This round was mainly for good communication skills and confidence. I wrote keywords in my notebook about what I was going to speak. Everyone was given approx 3-4 minutes to speak and at the end finish with a conclusion. 4 students were shortlisted from this round.

Round 3 – Technical Interview-1 (09 Nov 2022): 2-3 hours later, The Technical Interview round was conducted which was Round 3. This was one to one interview about technical skills. In this interview, you need to know about programming concepts and knowledge of core subjects. I was asked questions about oops concepts, SQL, and DSA fundamentals. One program to print star patterns. You should know sorting and its complexities as well as SQL is important.

Round 4 – Technical Interview-2 (10 Nov 2022): This round was mainly focused on I/O codes, DSA, and puzzles. First, 2-3 tricky ques given to me and I need to find the correct output for it. After that some fundamentals of DSA were asked followed by two puzzles :

Some hr type 2-3 ques were also asked like where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Two students were shortlisted from this round.

Round 5 – Management Round (11 Nov 2022): This round was purely project and DSA-focused. Questions related to Maps and linked lists were asked :

• Find the middle element in the linked list (Brute force as well as optimised).
• Find a loop in the linked list (concept of fast and slow as well as hashing logic).

Round 6 – HR round (11 Nov 2022): This was the final round in which we introduced ourselves to HR. It was a simple talk about myself and some hr questions were asked like about the company, the technology you know, participated in any competitions, etc. It went on for 12-13 minutes.

After 5 days result was declared and 2 students were selected.
