‘A’ sells a DVD to ‘B’ at a gain of 17% and ‘B’ then sells it to ‘C’ at a loss of 25%. If ‘C’ pays Rupees 1053 to ‘B’. then what is the cost price of the DVD to ‘A’ ?

Explanation: Explanation- let CP of A= x
SP price of A = 117x/100.

SP of b = SP of A – 25%of SP of A = 117x/100-117x/400 = 351x/400

351x/400=1053
x = 1200
