If a fair coin is tossed four times. What is the probability that two heads and two tails will result?
(A) 3/8
(B) 1/2
(C) 5/8
(D) 2/4


Answer: (A)

Explanation: There are total 16 possibilities, out of which following have 2 heads and 2 tails

HHTT, HTHT, TTHH, THTH, HTTH, THHT

So the probability of 2 heads is 6/16 which is 3/8
