Fiserv visited our campus in October 2021 for Technology Analyst Program recruitment, the whole process involved a total of 3 rounds.

Round 1: Candidates were given test links for this round. It consisted of 5 Java Coding Questions and 10 MCQ’S.

  • MCQ was related to output-based Java and Computer Science Fundamentals.
  • There were 5 coding questions I don’t remember the exact questions but they were of medium difficulty and can be solved using appropriate Data Structures. Topics involved were sorting, Hashmaps, and Strings.

You can solve these easily if you are doing Leetcode or DSA consistently. This round is of 90 minutes.

Round 2: The next day we were given interview links and I joined the first round.

  • The Interviewer told me to give an Introduction about myself and I explained my strong areas and projects. Keep in mind always that half of your interview would be based on your introduction just be confident and explain your strong topics as an intro.
  • Then he went on to ask a few questions related to Java and my projects.
  • He asked me to explain the approach for the program to find if a string is a palindrome.
  • A few questions were based on OOPS.
  • In one of my projects, I used a NoSQL database and then asked me to explain why I have chosen NoSQL db and tell me the main differences between SQL and NoSQL.
  • This round was pretty easy and be confident while you are answering.

This round is around 30 mins

Round 3: This was a Managerial round. In this round surprisingly no technical stuff was asked it was a casual discussion about my projects and the new technologies that were emerging. This round was 30 mins as well.

After 2 days we got the results and around 30 candidates were selected from our University.
