Fidelity Investments Interview Experience (On-Campus) 2022

Company Name: Fidelity Investments

Roles Offered: Full Stack Developer or Data Engineer

Round 1: Online Assessment: It was conducted on the Hirepro platform and the duration of the test was 2 hours. The test was divided into 4 sections:

• 10 questions based on English Vocabulary and comprehension and the time allotted was 15 mins.
• 20 questions based on CS fundamentals and the time allotted was 30 mins.
• There were 2 coding questions both of basic level(time allotted-1hr):
  • To check if the given array is increasing or decreasing.
  • To count the number of characters that are lexically sorted in a given string.
• There were 2 Algorithm based questions which carried only 1 mark (time allotted-15mins)

Round 2: Technical Interview: After a week I had my interview and 29 students were shortlisted

• He asked how to make a form
• How is data stored in a database
• What data structure would you use to store data of a form
• Difference between Compiler and Interpreter

The interview was for a very short duration it lasted for only 20 mins and my interviewer was very friendly. After 30 mins I got an E-mail for the HR round.15 students were selected for HR Round.

Round 3: HR Round: Around 10 mins after I got the Email I was called for an HR interview

• Tell me about yourself. (It is important to mention how you’ve inculcated the values of the company in your life)
• Tell me about your hometown
• Tell me about your parents
• Why fidelity
• Would you prefer Bangalore or Chennai

After 2 hours we got our results. I was among 8 Fidelity Selects

Tips: Be calm, listen and understand the questions properly. Finally, keep a smile throughout the interview.
