Fabric.js Itext strokeLineCap Property

Fabric.js is a JavaScript library that is used to work with canvas. The canvas Itext is one of the class of Fabric.js that is used to create Itext instances. The canvas Itext means the Itext is movable and can be stretched according to requirement. In this article we will be using strokeLineCap property for setting the stroke line cap or not. The accepted values of this parameter are ‘butt’, ’round’, and ‘square’.

First import the Fabric.js library. After importing the library, create a canvas block in the body tag which will contain the Itext. After this, initialize an instance of Canvas and Itext class provided by Fabric.js and use the strokeLineCap property.

Syntax:

fabric.Itext(Itext, {
  strokeLineCap: string
});

Parameters: This function takes a single parameter as mentioned above and described below:

  • strokeLineCap: This parameter takes a string value that specifies whether the stroke line cap is set. The values of this parameter can be one of ‘butt’, ’round’, or ‘square’.

Example: This example uses Fabric.js to set the strokeLineCap property of the canvas Itext.
