Explain Akismet and Jetpack

Akismet: It can be defined as the service that filters spam from the comments, trackbacks, and contact form messages. It is one of those WordPress anti-spam plugins which is highly recommendable. Akismet can also be called the official free plugin by WordPress. Here, the filters work by combining the information about spam captured on the various participating sites, and then using this information or we can say the spam rules, we can easily block the future spam. 

Even every WordPress installation has the pre-installed Akismet plugin, but we need to activate this plugin as this is not activated by default.
