Expedia Interview Experience for SDE 2

I applied to around 20+ positions in Expedia for sde1, and sde2 for frontend, backend, and full stack.
Finally, got the OA link after applying through a referral at the start of July.

Online assessment: 3 questions were asked, one LC easy, one LC medium, and one LC hard was able to solve the easy and medium one in 90 mins. Got a call from HR for basic details, as I was working at TCS (90 days notice period), I was asked to contact them when I will be middle of my notice period. Was connected to them in mid of Sept.Finally my interview was scheduled.

   https://leetcode.com/problems/rotting-oranges/ was able to solve both of them in 1hr.
• DSA2 : https://leetcode.com/problems/binary-tree-cameras/
  was not able to come up with the right approach but was not able to write the correct code in 1hr.
  https://leetcode.com/problems/palindromic-substrings/submissions/
  was able to solve in 15 min.
• LLD: I was asked to design google maps. Discuss requirements and was able to write complete working code with help of a recruiter.

Manager Round: I was asked questions about design patterns, language, solid principles, good code structure, and deployment techniques. I was working as an angular developer and my role was for a java developer, was asked questions around that and behavioral questions. After that, he was happy and asked if I have any questions.I asked a lot of questions and then finally said fingers crossed let’s see.

Result: I tried to know about the result but after 15 days I got a call that I have been shortlisted for the role but offers will be given after some time.

Then I tried to reach out to them after 20 days and heard back that they have frozen hiring and will roll out the offer to me next when they will again start hiring and after 10days I am going to join the new organization.

Suggestion: Never believe a recruiter keeps giving interviews until your last day because anytime any offer can be declined.
