DotPe Interview Experience for SDE (On-Campus) 2022

Round 1: Online Assessment 1: Platform: Mettl. Sections contained: MCQs on DSA, DBMS, OS, and 3 coding questions. Coding questions were based on Dynamic Programming and Backtracking.

Verdict: 25 students cleared this round including me and received mail after a few days.

Round 2: Technical Interview (Online): It was a full DSA round. I was first asked about my favorite Data Structure to which I replied “HASHMAP”. Then, we have a good discussion about the problem-Solvinginternal implementation of HashMap, TreeMap, and LinkedHashMap. The interviewer was satisfied with my response. Then he jumped into problem-Solving. Questions were based on Leetcode and were of medium level. Below is the link to Questions-

I was able to code all of them. Then, he asked about the project in brief. The interviewer was impressed. 

Verdict: 8 students were selected from this round including me.

Round 3: HR Interview (Online): HR asked about interests, projects, and skills. Then she gave a brief about the company, and my role and talked about technologies DotPe works on. It looks like a mere formality round. But surprisingly, two students were eliminated.

Verdict: 6 students were selected including me and were given internship + FTE.
