1. Ubuntu : 
Ubuntu operating system was developed in the year 1970 by Dennis Ritchie, Ken Thompson, and their team. Unix operating system is known for its open-source support and high flexibility. Over the years Unix OS is highly popular among businesses for its low dependency, high modularity, and wide distributions. Linux operating systems are used for their kernel capacities and its architecture also consists of two layers called Kernel Layer and User Layer.

Features of Ubuntu :

  • It offers a smart searching feature to find things quickly.
  • It provides users to easily manage videos. 
     

2. Kubuntu : 
Kubuntu operating system was developed in the year 2005 as a flavor of Ubuntu. It is a community-driven flavor and is sponsored by Blue Systems. It is an open-source OS that is known for its high features. This operating system is popular for graphics, email, and productivity. It is a highly rich OS that is used as an alternative to macOS and Windows. It is used for its mobile-ready Linux distro feature which provides an easy connection of desktop with mobile devices.

  • It offers rich video and music features.
  • It has a productivity suite that offers easy read-write of documents.
