1. Tablet: 
A tablet or Tablet Computer is a device generally operated with a mobile operating system. It has a touchscreen display and there is a rechargeable battery inbuilt into it. It is basically a thin and flat device. It does not poses any physical keyboard with it. The lasting time of the battery in the tablet is more as compared to the battery life of the laptop. It is light weighted and portable easily. It is better than a standard computer because it is small in size and you can easily take it with you anywhere. 

2. Personal Digital Assistants (PDA): 
PDAs refer to Personal Digital Assistants also named the hand-held computer as it is smaller in size, can perform specific tasks, and can serve as a diary, personal database, telephone or alarm clock, etc.  The first company to introduce Apple in 1993. Most PDAs have accessibility to the Internet, intranets, or extranets via Wi-Fi or Wireless Wide Area Networks. It poses a smaller slot for Memory cards of smaller sizes. These are smaller in size and can fit in a person’s hand. When Tablets got introduced in 2010, most of them stopped coming up with new ones. 
 

Difference between Tablet and PDA :

6. Its component include a processing circuit, color display, and battery that recharges just like a phone. Its component include a keypad, screen, battery, SD card and a pen.
7. Some tablets has rotating LCD display. It does not have this feature.
8. It is touch screen interface. It use a pen rather than a keyboard for input.
9. It is lightweight to heavy. It is lightweight.
10. Tablets have software that lets you perform almost any task. Limited capabilities
