Site Engineer, as name suggests, is simply a person who is professional in giving technical advice as well as organizes and supervises all construction projects.



Difference between Project Engineer and Site Engineer :

It mainly focuses on managing and completion of all projects. It mainly focuses on execution of physical work at site.
Skills required for project engineer includes lots of initiative, excellent communication skills, great organizational skills, design skills, etc. Skills required for site engineer includes commercial awareness, communication skills, technical skills, leadership and management, etc.
Their responsibilities includes reviewing plans and proposals, reviewing bids for new projects, preparing cost estimates, etc. Their responsibilities includes surveying, preparing and leveling area for work, facilitating planning data among managers, acting as top technical advisor, etc.
Factors affecting project engineer performance include size of project, poor communications skills, lack of organizational skills, lack of leadership and managerial skills, etc. Factors affecting site engineer performance include lack of managerial skill, lack of technical skills, no leadership quality, poor communication skills, etc.
Its process include managing project team resources, training, pre-planning, developing project. Its process include monitoring construction and planning processes, to look for new opportunities to increase efficiency, etc.
Its main objective is to complete all projects related in engineering and construction. Its main objective is to organize and supervise construction projects along with giving specialist advice.
