1. Project Engineer :
Project Engineer, as name suggest, is simply a person or engineer who is responsible for managing personnel, managing budget, as well as managing schedule simply to deliver a successful project result.

2. Control Engineer :
Control Engineer, as name suggests, is simply a person or employee who is responsible for ensuring that plants create most efficient and best products possible and therefore oversee production of systems and equipment’s.



Difference between Project Engineer and Control Engineer :

Project Engineer Control Engineer
It mainly focuses on management and completion of assigned projects. It mainly focuses on modeling and design of complex systems and equipment’s.
Skills required for project engineer includes safety management skills, process improvement skills, project management skills, etc. Skills required for control engineer includes understanding automatic control, flexible working hours, troubleshooting skills, etc.
Their responsibilities includes maintain products and reputation of company or organization, ensure safe and clean working environment, design and conduct tests, etc. Their responsibilities includes analyze plan processes, plan preventive maintenance, eliminate control system issues, etc.
Factors affecting project engineer performance includes incomplete technical knowledge, lack of designing skills, lack of organizational skills, etc. Factors affecting control engineer performance includes lack of development skills, weak mathematical abilities, lack of knowledge regarding network services, etc.
Its process include interpreting, identifying, evaluating, organizing project related activities. Its process include designing, developing, installing, managing and implementing various solutions that control dynamic systems and equipment’s.
Its main objective is ensure that projects gets completed successfully on given period of time and effectively. Its main objective is bring stability to systems or equipment’s that are changing constantly simply to produce desired result or outcome.
Its benefit includes increase customer satisfaction, allows better communication, builds subconscious desire, etc. Its benefit includes ensure safety, troubleshoot issues, maintain quality, increase efficiency, maintain budget level, etc.
Project engineer tasks are more less difficult than Control Engineer tasks. Control Engineer tasks are less difficult than Project Engineer tasks.
It cannot handle role of Control Engineer. Its role is limited and therefore cannot handle role of project engineer.
