Electronic Point of Sale (EPOS), as name suggests, is a software system that performs all business tasks such as checkouts, payments, handling accounts, inventory management, etc.
Difference between POS and EPOS :
|POS systems generally include manual operations such as reconcile accounts i.e. process that compares two sets of records to check that figures are correct and in agreement. In simple words one manually checks and handle all account related operations without any need of electronic system.||EPOS system is electronic system that is generally used to reconcile accounts.|
