Difference between iOS and Chrome OS

1. iOS :
iOS is a mobile operating system which is provided by Apple Incorporation. It is mainly designed for Apple mobile devices like iPhone and iPod Touch. It was earlier known as iPhone OS. It is a Unix-like operating systems which is based on Darwin(BSD) operating system. It is the world’s second most used mobile operating system after Android. It is mainly written in C, C++, Objective-C, assembly language and Swift. The first version of iOS was launched in 2007.

2. Chrome OS :
Chrome OS is a Linux kernel based operating system which is provided by Google. It uses Google Chrome web browser as main user interface. It was developed using C, C++, Javascript, HTML5, Python and Rust. It is used in personal computers known as Chromebook. The first version of Chrome OS was launched by Google in 2009. Google announced it as an operating system in which both user data and applications reside in the cloud.

Difference between iOS and Chrome OS :
