1. HCL Connections : HCL Connections is a storage software which is provided by HCL Technologies. It was developed by IBM but HCL acquired it in 2019. It is an enterprise-collaboration platform which helps teams work more efficiently. It was launched by IBM in 2007. It offers 5 GB free storage space. It provides limited storage space for paid accounts. It was earlier known as IBM Connections.

Wuala : Wuala was a file synchronization service, file storage service, file versioning service and backup storage service which was originally provided by Caleido Incorporation but was later owned by Seagate Technology. It was developed by Dominik Grolimund and Luzius Meisserin. It was majorly developed using Java. It offered 5 GB free storage space. It was launched in 2008.

It is owned by HCL Technologies. Originally owned by Caleido Incorporation but was later owned by Seagate Technology.
It was launched in 2007. It was launched in 2008.
It offers 5 GB free storage space. It offered 5 GB free storage space but later on it was made only paid-service.
It was developed by IBM. It was developed by Dominik Grolimund and Luzius Meisserin.
It does not provide additional free storage space for referral. Initially it had referral system but later on referral service was suspended.
Maximum storage size is 1TB for smaller installations, 10TB for medium installations and 100TB for big installations in RAID Technology. Maximum storage size offered was 2 TB here.
It supports file versioning. It also supported file versioning.
It does not provide ability to trade local disk storage space. It provided ability to trade local disk storage space against cloud storage.
It is still in use. This service was suspended in 2015.
It was initially called IBM Connections. It was called Wuala from the starting.
