Initially it was named iCloud but later Apple acquired that name. It offers 3 GB free storage space. Maximum file size is 150 MB for free and 2 GB for paid business plan. It provides an additional 500 MB for referrals up to 19 GB of free space. It provides limited storage space for premium accounts. Its biggest competitor is Dropbox.

It is majorly used in small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises. It does not provide a freeware version. It is majorly used for storing professional data and not personal data. It was launched in 2008.
