Difference between Baidu Cloud and CloudMe

1. Baidu Cloud:
Baidu Cloud is a cloud service which is provided by Baidu Incorporation. It offers a cloud storage service, client software, file management, sharing of resources and integration of third party. It enables to synchronizes files automatically on internet based client terminals once the files are created on a client terminal. It was launched by Baidu Incorporation in 2012. Its actual name is Baidu Wangpan but is commonly known as Baidu Cloud.

2. CloudMe :
CloudMe is a file storage service which is provided by CloudMe AB. It provides file synchronization, cloud storage and client software. It was founded by Daniel Arthursson in 2011. Initially it was named iCloud but later Apple acquired that name. It offers 3 GB free storage space. It provides limited storage space for premium accounts. Its biggest competitor is Dropbox.



Difference between Baidu Cloud and CloudMe :

It is owned by Baidu Incorporation. It is owned by CloudMe AB.
It was launched in 2012. It was launched in 2011.

It offers 6 GB free storage space. It offers 3 GB free storage space.
It provides 2 TB maximum storage space for paid. Maximum storage size is 500 GB for paid here.
It does not support file versioning. It supports file versioning but rarely.
It supports remote uploading. It does not support remote uploading.
Maximum file size in Baidu Cloud is 4 GB for free and 20 GB for paid. Here maximum file size is 150 MB for free and unlimited for premium accounts.
It is used in some specific region and specific countries like China. While it is used world wide.
It has traffic and band-width limit. It does not have such limits.
