1. Android 1.1 :
Android 1.1 is the second version of Android which was introduced by Google after Android 1.0. It had all the features that were included in the previous version i.e. Android 1.0 and also some more features were added in this version. Some features were added in caller applications like hiding and showing of the numeric keyboard. The feature for saving MMS attachments was also added in this version. It also does not have the official version name like Android 1.0 but unofficially it is called Banana Bread. The API level in Android 1.1 is 2. It was released on 9 February 2009.

2. Android 3.0 :
Android 3.0 is next version of Android after ‘Gingerbread’ which was introduced by Google. New user features like multi core support, better tablet support, updated 3D UI, media transport protocol, private browsing, HTTP live streaming and Google eBooks were introduced in this version. New developer features like contextual action bar, fragments first introduced, hardware-accelerated 2D graphics, renderscript 3D graphics engine, pluggable DRM framework, device administration, high performance Animation Framework, RTP streaming API, forced rendering of layers, high performance WIFI lock, ADTS AAC and FLAC audio and LRU cache were added in this version. Its version name is Honeycomb. The API level in Android 3.0 is 11. It was released on 22 February 2011.



Difference between Android 1.1 and Android 3.0 :
