1. Android 1.0 :
Android 1.0 is the very first version of Android which was introduced by Google. It had some basic features including web browser support, camera support, Gmail accounts, Google maps and Youtube application. Although it does not have the official version name like further introduces versions but unofficially it is called Apple Pie. The API level in Android 1.0 version is 1. It is not used anymore in the mobile devices. It was released on 23 September 2008.

2. Android 8.1 :
Android 8.1 is the next version of Android after Android 8.0 which was introduced by Google. Key user features like show battery level in quick settings for devices connected via bluetooth, navigation buttons dim when not in use, UI updates to power off and restart, automatic light and dark themes and emoji updates were added in this version. Key developer features like neural networks API for artificial intelligence, shared memory API, wallpaper colors API, programmatic safe browsing actions and autofill framework updates were introduced in this version. Its version name is Oreo. The API level in Android 8.1 is 27. It was released on 05 December 2017.
