1. Android 1.0 :
Android 1.0 is the very first version of Android which was introduced by Google. It had some basic features including web browser support, camera support, Gmail accounts, Google maps and Youtube application. Although it does not have the official version name like further introduces versions but unofficially it is called Apple Pie. The API level in Android 1.0 version is 1. It is not used anymore in the mobile devices. It was released on 23 September 2008.
2. Android 7.1 :
Android 7.1 is the next version of Android after Android 7.0 which was introduced by Google. Key user features like daydream virtual reality mode, night light, storage manager improvements, performance improvements for touch and display managements and option to enable fingerprint swipe down gesture were added in this version. Key developer features like shortcut manager APIs, support circular application icons, keyboard image insertion, VR thread scheduling improvements, enhanced wallpaper metadata, multi-endpoint call support, source type support for visual voicemail and carrier configuration options to manage video telephony were introduced in this version. Its version name is Nougat. The API level in Android 7.1 is 25. It was released on 04 October 2016.
