Deutsche Bank Interview Experience for Graduate Analyst (On-Campus) 2023

Courses Allowed: B.Tech. – CSE, ECE, and ISE
Eligibility: 70% in 10th, 12th and 7.75 CGPA in B.Tech
Job Location: Bangalore/Pune
Mode of Drive: Online

Online Round (90 mins): There were 3 questions. One easy, one medium, and one hard question were there. I solved 2 questions and got shortlisted for further rounds.

A total of 4 students got shortlisted for the next round.

Round 1: Technical Interview 1 (45 mins):

• Introduce yourself
• Write a program to fetch data from 2 different APIs and store it in a single table in the Database.
• Print an Inverted Triangle using ‘*’ in C language
• Modify the above code to print right angled triangle
• Write SQL query on how to use inner join
• Differentiate between Class and Structure
• Differentiate between Pointers and Reference
• Differentiate between Function Overloading and Operator Overloading
• Explain Abstraction using real-world examples
• Explain Encapsulation using real-world examples
• Can the array be passed as a reference
• What is a garbage collector and what does it do
• How memory is assigned to a Class
• Differentiate between SQL and MongoDB
• Any questions for the interviewer?
• I asked about their entry-level rotational program for fresh grads

3 students got shortlisted for the next round.

Round 2: Technical Interview 2 (45-50mins):

• Introduce yourself
• Current semester subjects
• Your favorite subject (Based on the previous answer)
• What do you think is the future scope for encryption (based on the previous answer)
• Project discussion (10-15mins)
• What do you know about SDLC
• Discussion on Agile model (10mins)
• Situation-based questions on team deadline
• Any questions for the interviewer?
• I asked questions about the technology the interviewer was working in

All 3 got shortlisted.

Round 3: Professional Fitness Round. (30-40 min):

• The interviewer started with tell me about yourself?
• Project discussion in-depth (15-20mins)
• Discussion on my previous internship
• How does authentication work in firebase (Based on Internship)
• Situation-based question about what will you do if you are asked to learn new technology and do a project by next week
• Any questions for the interviewer?
• I asked 1 question about company culture

2 got shortlisted for the HR round.

Round 4: HR Round (5-10mins):

• She started with Tell me about yourself.
• Asked about my hobbies
• Which comic would you recommend someone to read
• She asked me about my family background
• Are you planning for higher studies in the next 2 years
• Are you open to learning new technologies
• She asked some standard questions

2 students got selected

Verdict: SELECTED

• STAY CALM AND DON’T BE NERVOUS
• BE THOROUGH WITH YOUR RESUME AS THEY ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR RESUME
• KEEP YOUR ENERGY UP FOR ALL ROUNDS SINCE ALL ROUNDS WILL BE ON THE SAME DAY
• TRY TO ASK QUESTIONS AT THE END OF EACH ROUND
