DecimalFormatSymbols getGroupingSeparator() method in Java with Examples

The getGroupingSeparator() method of java.text.DecimalFormatSymbols class in Java is used to get the character that is used to represent thousands of separator for the Locale of this DdecimalFormatSymbols. This method returns the character for thousands separator of that Locale.
Syntax:
public char getGroupingSeparator()
Parameter: This method do not accept any parameter.
Return Value: This method returns a thousands separator of the DdecimalFormatSymbols.
Exception: This method do not throw any Exception.

public class DecimalFormatSymbolsDemo {
public static void main(String[] args)
{
DecimalFormatSymbols dfs
= new DecimalFormatSymbols();
