The getDecimalSeparator() method of java.text.DecimalFormatSymbols class in Java is used to get the character that is used to represent decimal separator for the Locale of this DdecimalFormatSymbols. This method returns the character for decimal separator of that Locale.

Syntax:

public char getDecimalSeparator()

Parameter: This method do not accept any parameter.

Return Value: This method returns an decimal separator of the DdecimalFormatSymbols.

Exception: This method do not throw any Exception.
