DE Shaw Internship Interview Experience (On-Campus)

They visited our campus for the 2020-2021 session. The whole interview process is done virtually due to COVID-19.

Round 1(Online Coding): It’s an online coding round with 25 general aptitude & technical questions and 1 coding question. The duration of this round is of 80 minutes.

The coding question was:

1. You have a master key and N passwords of N Computers. You can use any combination of master key like:

   Master Key=”123″

   Keys can be “1”,”2″,”3″,”12″,”21″,”13″,”31″,”23″,”32″,”123″,”132″,”213″,”231″,”312″,”321″.

   You need to find how many computers you can unlock.
