Convert String from Uppercase to Lowercase in R programming – tolower() method

tolower() method in R programming is used to convert the uppercase letters of string to lowercase string.

Syntax: tolower(s)

Return: Returns the lowercase string.

Example 1:

filter_none

close

play_arrow

link
brightness_4
code

# R program to convert string
# from uppercase to lowercase
gfg <- "GeEks FoR GeeKs"
  
# Using tolower() method
answer <- tolower(gfg)
  
print(answer)
